COMMERCIAL & CORPORATE LAW
Our Commercial Law Department carries a wealth of practical experience and knowledge emanating from the drafting, preparation and negotiation of numerous commercial contracts and agreements as required and tailor made for our clients to facilitate business transactions and mitigate risks.
The firm also advises and represents its corporate and private clients in commercial litigation and mediation. Our clients also benefit from our global business acumen as we advise them on advancing their business development as well as safe guarding their future business interests.
DEBT COLLECTION, INSOLVENCY & RESTRUCTURING
DNA Inc. attends to corporate and private debt collections. Both our Directors are experts in first assessing claims against debtors and thereafter instituting the proper processes against them to achieve a positive recovery.
The use of our knowledge and experience, coupled and supplemented with the implementation of the latest technological systems, has resulted in better returns for our clients both in terms of the value collected and the limiting of their costs exposure.
INSURANCE LAW
DNA Inc. Insurance Law Department is highly proficient in the investigation and quantification of insurance claims.
Our Director, Mr S J Naicker has over 20 years of experience in the Insurance and Legal Industries and has experience in Public Liability, Professional Indemnity, Trade Credit Recoveries and Motor Vehicle Accidents, wherein he has represented both insurers as well as insured clients.
Our continual focus on the outcome of matters limits our clients’ cost exposure and ensures that the client’s objectives are exceeded on a consistent basis.
ESTATE LAW
DNA Inc. attends to the administration and winding up of deceased estates. Our Directors hold more than 12 (twelve) years’ experience in the administration of deceased estates.
We are mindful of the sensitivity of all estate matters and it’s impact on a family and the loved ones that are left behind.
We take pride in administering deceased estates as expeditiously as possible thereby enabling a sense of closure to the family in their time of grieving.
REAL ESTATE & PROPERTY LAW TRANSACTIONS
Our Real Estate department is highly specialised in all property law matters, ranging from residential conveyancing to commercial developments.
Our highly experienced team has developed relationships and worked with real estate agents, property developers and financial institutions.
LITIGATION
DNA Inc has an excellent litigation team that brings to the table a vast number of years of practical legal experience. Our litigation attorneys have attended to the preparation and execution of all matters in the High Court, Magistrate’s Court, Labour Court, Supreme Court of Appeal and the Constitutional Court.
Our team are also well-versed and experienced in alternate dispute resolution mechanisms.
SIMON J NAICKER

Simon Naicker is a Director at DNA Inc., heading the firm’s Commercial Law, Insurance Law, and Litigation departments. He was admitted as an attorney in 2015 after completing his LLB through UNISA in 2012.
Mr. Naicker specialises in complex commercial transactions, insurance matters, and litigation across various sectors, offering practical legal solutions and strategic guidance to both corporate and private clients. His leadership ensures that matters are approached with clarity, confidence, and a deep understanding of client objectives.
He has experience in representing clients in High Court litigation and regulatory proceedings, ensuring successful outcomes in high-value matters.
Mr. Naicker’s commitment to continuous learning ensures that he remains current with legal developments and evolving best practices.
DONNAVAN NAIDOO

Conveyancer & Notary
Donnavan Naidoo is the founder of DNA Inc. and was admitted as an attorney and conveyancer in 2007 and then as a notary in 2012.
Mr Naidoo is primarily a commercial attorney and has been at the forefront of numerous commercial projects for various corporate entities, as well as state-owned entities and private clients. With a wealth of knowledge and experience in property and transactional law, he continues to be an asset to financial institutions when regulating their risk management and securities implementation.
He was the project lead on some of the high-profile state-owned entity projects, and his leadership ensured the success of the projects as well as that of the firms he represented.
Mr. Naidoo also heads the Real Estate department at DNA Inc and is the integral strand in the building and maintenance of DNA’s relationship building and client retention.
